Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships 2017: Definitive Registrations
Information about Grand Prix Marbella 2017
After 7 years, Marbella arranges the 4th International Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix of the Year.
The Grand Prix will take place in Marbella, South of Spain from 31st March to 2nd April. At the same time, pre-junior competition (2005,2006,2007) “Marbella Cup” and “Andalucia Cup”, junior team competition (2002,2003,2004) will also take place.
The participants list of Grand Prix is not available for the moment but Katsiaryna Halkina, Viktoriya Mazur, Olena Dyachenko and Aleksandra Soldatova are already confirmed.

Gymnast ranked 1st to 12th on the International Ranking list or National Champions of Uzbekistan, USA, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Belarus, South Korea, Austria, Spain, Azerbaijan, Greece, Japan, France, Italy, Germany, Ukraine and Georgia could participate.
The competition venue is “Palacio de los Deportes San Pedro de Alcantara”. Closest airport is Malaga (AGP).

Son Yeon Jae announces retirement
South Korean Gymnast, Son Yeon Jae, announces retirement after an amazing gymnastics career.
She is the 2014 Asian Games All-around Champion, the 2010 Asian Games all-around bronze medalist, three-time (2016, 2015, 2013) Asian Championships All-around Champion.
“I am so happy to finish and I came to the end. I do not have any regrets. How meaningful this was to me. I know how much I’ve learned and grown. I am so thankful and happy.
I learned to believe in myself more than anyone else.
I became a solid person, who is full of gorgeousness. I believe I can be happier while doing everything.
And thank you and thank you all who walked with me!” – said Son Yeon Jae on her Instagram account.
FIG’s International Judges Course in Ukraine

A bunch of countries will participate in the RG International Judges Course that will be held in Kiev Ukraine from 10th March to 16th of March.
Some of the popular names on the list below are former gymnast such as Anna Bessonova from Ukraine and Olga Ilina from Russia.

Former Russian rhythmic gymnast, Nataliya Bulycheva is now a shining star in the fashion world.
Before she made her runway debut and becoming a new face in fashion world, Nataliya was a member of the National Team of Russia in Rhyhmic Gymnastics, attending to several international tournaments. She is also Master of Sports International category in Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Natalia is nowadays working with top fashion agencies such as Elite Paris, Barcelona, Milan and London. She walked for iconic fashion designers such as Dolce and Gabbana, Hermes, Roland Mouret and Elie Saab.

Sofia Tesmenitskaya (Russian National team) who has really strong features in fashion world: Dolce and Gabbana, Valentino, Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein…
Mar González, Spanish new face, Givenchy Fall/Winter fashion show opener. Mar competed in Spanish Nationals and trained at the same club as Eugenia Onopko.
Elena Sudakova, worked for the best designers in the world and was a member of Russian team since 1999 to 2002.

Jana Berezko-Marggrander announces retirement
Olympian gymnast Jana Berezko from Germany, has just announced her retirement.
The first time we saw Jana Berezko-Marggrander in top international competitions was in European Championships in Bremen, as junior gymnast. In Bremen, Jana won three bronze medals in junior category. She also represented Germany and competed at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore where she won the all-around bronze medal.
Two years later, she qualified for Olympic Games in London. Last year, Berezko-Marggrander competed at the Rio Olympic Games held where she finished 18th in the All- Around competition.
Berezko-Marggrander was also 19 times champion of Germany. She wants to continueher sports career as a coach.
“Jana Berezko-Marggrander has been the head gymnast for Rhythmic Gymnastics in Germany for many years. She has successfully represented Germany in many international competitions. We wish her all the best for her new life and hope that she will remain loyal to the Rhythmic Gymnastics in whatever form, “said DTB Sports Director Wolfgang Willam.

Information about LA Lights Rhythmic Gymnastics International Tournament 2017
L.A. Lights Meet is one of the most expected competitions of the year, since it is the first one of the 2017 season. Olympic Stars such as Anna Rizatdinova (UKR) and Katsiaryna Halkina (BLR) already confirmed their participation in this tournament.
This celebration of athletic prowess and ambitious challenges attracts some of the best female athletes from across the United States and the entire world. The L.A. Lights Tournament of Champions will take place over the weekend of January 26-29th at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium.

Neta Rivkin’s Masterclass in Spain
Neta Rivkin (ISR)- World Championships Stuttgart 2015
Three-times Olympian, Neta Rivkin from Israel, is attending a Masterclass in Gijon, Northern Spain. Neta announced retirement last month, just at the en of 2016 season.
Rivkin was the flag bearer of the Israeli Team at the opening ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympics, her third Olympic Games, at the age of 24. She’s currently one of the top sportswomen of Israel. At the age of 20 she became the first Israeli to win a medal in the World Championships.
Her first Olympic Games were in Beijing (2008), were she was one of the youngest gymnasts, with only 17 years old of age. Then she could also qualify for London Olympic Games in 2012 were she qualified for the finals and finished 7th overall.
Neta is well known for her amazing technique, releve, pointe, well-done turns.
Club Rítmica Galaica is the organizer of this event.
