Grand Prix Thiais finished. The arena was almost packed and the lights were perfect for photographers. The best gymnast of the world were performing their last routines here.

For individuals, Caroline Weber surprised with her brand new routine “Smooth Criminal”. Audience really liked this performance, perfectly adapted with the music.

Silviya Miteva was close to podium in all of her routines (but in ball she missed a catch). She got silver medal in ribbon (17.667)

Neta Rivkin got bronze medal in her ball routine with french lyrics. It is one of the most elegant ball routines this season. In hoop she had to run for not missing a catch in the middle and at the end of her routine, she did a silly mistake and the hoop went out of the carpet.

Kseniya Moustafaeva was one of the stars in Thiais she was in all finals.  Varvara Filiou, from Greece, surprised with her amazing ball routine. It is an elegant and powerful routine at the same time. Her score was 17.033 (she was only in this final). After this, she was watching the competition with her coach (former gymnast) Evmorphia Dona. Varvara was smiling whole time and took photos with all the people who asked her for a photo.

Ukrainians Alina Maksymenko and Viktoria Mazur were not in all finals. Mazur performed an incredible ball routine (17.150), almost the same score for Maksymenko in clubs (17.100)

For Belarus, Arina Charopa was in 3 finals and Melitina Staniouta got 3 bronze medals: hoop, clubs and ribbon.

Russia was the winner of  “Val de Marne” tournament. They got all gold medals: Margarita Mamun in hoop, ribbon. clubs and ball and the group in both finals. Alexandra Merkulova was second in ball routine and clubs.  Darya Svatkovskaya was 2nd in hoop aswell. Maria Titova was watching the competitions with Patricia Bezzoubenko (CAN)and many girls asked her for an autograph.

For groups, Spain got 2nd place with 17.250 in 10 clubs routine. Very clear routine indeed. China did not performed really good with clubs(drops), but they got silver medal in 3 balls and 2 ribbons routine. Third place was for Ukraine in both finals.

El Grand Prix de Thiais ha finalizado. El pabellón estaba casi lleno y las luces estaban dispuestas de tal manera, que era un ambiente perfecto para tomar fotografías. Las mejores gimnastas mundiales disputaron aquí las finales por aparatos.

Caroline Weber (AUT) fue una de las favoritas del público con su ejercicio de aro “Smooth Criminal”, perfectamente adaptada a la música.

Silviya Miteva estuvo cerca de las medallas en casi todos sus ejercicios. Obtuvo la medalla de plata en cinta con una puntuación de 17,667.

Neta Rivkin obtuvo bronce con su ejercicio de pelota, uno de los más elegantes de esta temporada. En aro, tuvo que desplazarse para no perder una recogida y al final del ejercicio, debido a un pequeño error, el aro se salió por unos centímetros fuera del tapiz.

Kseniya Moustafaeva era una de las estrellas aqui, estando en todas las finales. Sus declaraciones a la prensa fueron que debido al nerviosismo, cometió errores, que le servirán para aprender y mejorar en las próximas competiciones.

Varvara Filiou de Grecia, sorprendió con un magnífico ejercicio de pelota (su única final), con una puntuación de 17,033. Varvara es entrenada por la ex-gimnasta griega Evmorphia Dona.

El equipo de Ucrania con Alina Maksymenko y Viktoriya Mazur estuvieron en casi todas las finales. Una de las mejores para cada una fue pelota para Mazur (14,150) y para Alina 17,100 en mazas. Asímismo, el conjunto obtuvo dos medallas de bronce en las finales.

Arina Charopa de Bielorrusia estuvo en tres finales, mientras que su compañera, Melitina Staniouta consiguió 3 medallas de bronce en aro, mazas y cinta.

Rusia fue el equipo ganador del torneo “Val de Marne”. Obtuvieron todas las medallas de oro posibles. La reina de esta competición fue Margarita Mamun, consiguiendo la primera posición en el concurso general y en todas las finales. Alexandra Merkulova fue segunda en mazas y pelota. Darya Svatkovskaya fue segunda en aro también. Maria Titova, la otra gimnasta rusa, no se clasificó para ninguna competición y animó a sus compañeras junto con Patricia Bezzoubenko (CAN).

En conjuntos, España obtuvo la plata con un brillante ejercicio de mazas (17.250). China tuvo varas caídas en el ejercicio de mazas, pero consiguieron remontar con el ejercicio mixto, obteniendo el segundo puesto. La tercera posición fue para el equipo de Ucrania en ambas finales.

Today were qualifications for Grand Prix Thiais.

Russians got 3 golds in total.The first position went for Margarita Mamun (71.700), who executed very clean routines. Second was for Darya Svatkovskaya (70.417) and third for Alexandra Merkulova (69.616). The other Russian gymnast, Maria Titova got 11th position. She was upset with her results.

Team Russia made a lot of mistakes in their 3 balls 2 ribbons routine. A gymnast finished routine without a ball. In the other hand, 10 clubs routine was their best performance until today, since trainings for 10 clubs yesterday were not very good. They got gold medal.

Team Ukraine performed a fantastic 10 clubs routine, but they made some mistakes in 3 balls 2 ribbons routine. This time, Viktoriya Shynkarenko, who was training with the team, didn’t compete. They got 4th position.

Alina Maksymenko was one of the favorites today for getting a medal, but she was pretty unlucky (drops). Viktoriya Mazur did amazing turns and tricks. Her ranking was 8th (66.500) and Alina 12th 65.516). Both will be tomorrow in finals.

Silviya Miteva did some mistakes in her clubs routine (16.467), she finished in 4th position, with a score o 68.517.

Spanish group performed an amazing 10 clubs routine. However, 3 balls and 2 ribbons routine was not that good and even a gymnast went out of the carpet. They got 3rd position behind Russia and China.

China was the surprise here, they both routines were clear.

Audience supported a lot French gymnasts, especially Kseniya Moustafaeva who performed an incredible ribbon routine.

Lala Yusifova made a lot of mistakes with ball routine and with hoop. This time, hoop we nt out of the carpet and hit a photographer. Photographer gave her again the hoop (-0.50).

El equipo de Rusia fue el claro campeón en esta jornada, obteniendo 3 medallas para las gimnastas individuales y oro para el conjunto. La primera posición fue para Margarita Mamun, espectacular gimnasta, seguida de Darya Svatkovskaya y Alexandra Merkulova. La cuarta gimnasta del equipo, Maria Titova, cometió algunos errores y fue regañada en varias ocasiones por Irina Viner.

El conjunto ruso cometió demasiados errores en el ejercicio mixto, incluso finalizando la rutina con un aparato fuera del tapiz. Lograron compensar estos fallos con un dinámico y difícil ejercicio de mazas donde superaron los 17 puntos. Curiosamente, el ejercicio de mazas fue uno de los que más habían fallado durante los entrenamientos.

El conjunto ucraniano realizó una rutina de 10 mazas muy limpia, pero a pesar de ello finalizaron en cuarta posición ya que tuvieron fallos en el ejercicio mixto.  Viktoriya Shynkarenko no actuó y sólo salió en el desfile, curiosamente, de gimnastas individuales.

Alina Maksymenko era una de las favoritas de la competición, pero cometió demasiados errores y caídas. Su compañera, Viktoriya Mazur finalizó en 6º posición tras Caroline Weber.

El conjunto español realizó una rutina de 10 mazas muy segura, clara y sin grandes errores, lo que hizo que obtuvieran la segunda mejor nota en este aparato. Sin embargo, el ejercicio de 3 pelotas y 2 cintas no fue tan brillantemente ejecutado, incluso una gimnasta salió fuera del tapiz (aparato incluido).

El conjunto de China fue una sorpresa, al realizar ambos ejercicios libres de fallos.

Lala Yusifova cometió demasiados errores con los ejercicios de pelota y aro respectivamente. En este último ejercicio, el aro ha salido fuera del tápiz, golpeando a un fotógrafo el cual devolvió el aro a la gimnasta.
