RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS KIEV 2020 DAY 3 RESULTS

Stiliana Nikolova (BUL)

Turkey and Estonia made history yesterday at the European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics, as both earned their first ever medals. Turkey and Ukraine both scored 31.150, with the same difficulty and execution score. In this case, the technical deductions determine the final ranking, giving the gold to Turkey and positioning Ukraine second.

On the other hand, a big surprise on Bulgaria’s junior gymnast, Stiliana Nikolova, who got gold with ribbon. Melaniia Tur from Ukraine, who got the highest score the day before on qualifications, missed the opportunity to win a medal due to few drops during her clubs routine. Daria Atamanov from Israel won the gold medal in clubs. Dina Agisheva (BLR) clinched the first gold of the day, for her rope routine, then Polina Karika (UKR) topped the standing with ball.
