Information about Euskalgym 2014

Euskalgym is one of the most famous events of the year, where the top gymnasts from around the world perform one or two exercises and a gala. This time, the event will be held in Buesa Arena, Vitoria (Spain).

How can I go to Vitoria?

From Bilbao airport, there is a special transportation by bus:

Bilbao-Vitoria: Autobuses La Unión

From Madrid you can go by bus “Alsa Madrid-Vitoria Gasteiz”

Information about Youth Olympic Games 2014

Fourty-eight gymnasts from all around te world will compete next week in Nanjing, China for becoming Second Summer Olympic Champion. They compete in two events: individual all-around and group all-around. In the individual all-around there will be four apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon. In the group all-around there will be two apparatus: 5 hoops and 10 clubs.

There will be 18 gymnasts competing in the individual all-around and six groups of five gymnasts in the group all-around.
Finals: The top eight ranked gymnasts from the qualification qualify for the individual all-around final. The top four ranked groups from the qualification qualify for the group all-around final.

Since 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, there have been a few changes. Groups consists of 5 gymnasts instead of five and individuals will compete with ribbon instead of rope.

Information about Pan American Championships 2014

2014 Senior Pan American Championships (and UPAG qualification for the 2015 Pan American Games) for RG, TR and MAG & WAG will be held at Hershey Centre in the city of Mississauga, Ontario (Canada).
Dates for the events are August 20 – September 1, starting with RG, followed by TR and ending with MAG & WAG.

Rhythmic gymnastics events start today until 22nd of August.

Information about Grand Prix Berlin 2014

For the 14th time, Berlin hosts the top international gymnasts from all around the world to the Grand Prix competition in the German capital. Olympian Jana Berezko, Darya Sajfutdinova and twice the “Miss tournament” Laura Jung are expected to attend to this tournament.

This year, Grand Prix tournaments were held in Moscow, Russia (28.02.-02.03.14), Thiais, France (08.-03.09.14) and Holon, Israel (28-29.03.14). Berlin will be the fourth stop of this year’s Grand Prix series . The final will be held in Innsbruck, Austria from 11/14/2014
to 11/16/2014.

The participants of the Berlin Masters youth clubs and the Berlin Masters RSG camps will provide mood and rhythm in the Max-Schmeling-Halle, getting a new look this year. List of participants – coming soon.

Commonwealth Games 2014 – Rhythmic Gymnastics

The Commonwealth Games is an international, multi-sport event involving athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations. This event is taking place every four years. The games are the fourth largest multi-sport event in the world, after the Olympic Games, the Asian Games, and the Maccabiah Games.

The games are overseen by the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF), which also controls the sporting programme and selects the host cities. This time Glasgow was selected as a host city.

About Rhythmic gymnastics, Patricia Bezzoubenko from Canada is the favorite for gold medal. Another two gymnasts from the UK are also fighting for the medals: Laura Halford and Francesca Jones. By now, Patricia ranks first.

In groups, Canada is for the moment winning, followed by Wales and Malaysia.

“Rhythmic All Stars” is a gala show dedicated for Rhythmic Gymnastics that will be celebrated in Seoul, Korea.

Korean gymnast, Son Yeon Jae, is the protagonist of this show based on RG. This year the show is called “Rhythmic Fantasy”

Information about Amsterdam Masters 2014

AmsterdaMMasters 2014 is an international rhythmic gymnastics tournament at will be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

This tournament consist of:

– Junior individual competition
– Senior individual competition
– Senior grouos competition

The event AmsterdaMMasters has shown that our beautiful sport can reach a large audience and is also responsible for Dutch rhythmic gymnastics being back on the international calendar. It will be celebrated on 9th and 10th of May, a few weeks before European Championships.

World Cup Pesaro is one of the last stages of World Cups before European Championships. this competition is for senior individuals and groups.
The 8 best gymnasts and groups per apparatus of the qualifications will qualify to participate in the apparatus finals with a maximum of 2 gymnasts per Delegation.

At the same time, there will be an International Junior Competition called “Città di Pesaro”

Where it will be?

This competition will be held at Adriatic Arena, Pesaro (Italy). Closest airport is in Rimini.


When it will be?

It will be from 11th to 13th of April.
