Podium 2015

L.A. Lights International meeting is one of the competitions with more expectation around it, since RG Stars perform their new routines. Anna Rizatdinova from Ukraine won the All-Around competition. Anna changed 3 of her 4 routines and showed up new amazing tricks. Melitina Staniouta who was leader on the first day of competition, got the second place. The third position was for Belarusian raising hope, Katsiaryna Halkina.

Grand Prix Innsbruck 2014 Results

The last stage of Grand Prix Series was held in Innsbruck, Austria. Margarita Mamun of Russia won All-Around competitions and several medals at the final event. Local gymnast, Nicol Ruprecht, who trains in Vienna with Luchia Egermann won also a bronze medal in the final event. Maria Titova from Russia could not compete due to a injury.

PanAmerican Championships 2014 Results

Canadian/Russian gymnast Patricia Bezzoubenko was the favorite for winning the gold medal in the All-Around programm, but Jasmine Kerber from U.S.A resulted as the winner. Patricia was the star at Commonwealth Games in Scotland in July by taking five of the six golds up for grabs.

The first five teams have the rights to compete with 2 gymnast in PanAmerican Games in 2015. This were Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and, the gold medallist, U.S.A.

Jazzy Kerber of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, picked up the gold medal in the individual all-around, being the most regular of the competition.
Her team mate, Rebecca Sereda got medal and Angelica Kvieczynski from Brazil, bronze.

International Meeting Vitoria (Brazil) Results

Russian gymnastics star, Alexandra Soldatova won last weekend in Brazil “IV International Meeting” where European and Southamerican teams took part. Alexandra is number four gymnast in Russian national team ranking, behind current World Champion Yana Kudryavtseva, Margarita Mamun and Maria Titova.

Alexandra Soldatova is coached by Anna Shumilova and used to train in Dynamo Dmitrov School of Gymnastics. Succesful Russian gymnasts such as Daria Kondakova, Adel Galina, Ekaterina Malygina and Olympic Champion Alina Makarenko trained here too.

Spanish group (Lourdes Mohedano, Alejandra Quereda, Artemi Gavezou, Sandra Aguilar and Elena López) beat the favorite, Russian group with 10 clubs.

Local gymnasts, Angelica Kvieczynski and Natalia Gaudio ranked second and third.

World Cup Corbeil 2014 Results.

Corbeil-Essonnes World Cup is one of the biggest events in the RG calendar. This year, this competition celebrates its 40th edition. Former RG stars, such as Anna Bessonova, Natalia Godunko, Almudena Cid, Simona Peycheva and Elizabeth Paysieva attended as guests.

Margarita Mamun from Russia racked up 73.382 points during the All-Around final. Yana Kudryavtseva ranked second (faltered with ball) and Anna Rizatdinova from Ukraine won bronze.

Next World Cup will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Amsterdam Masters 2014 Results

AmsterdaMMasters 2014 is an international rhythmic gymnastics tournament that was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

This tournament consist of:

– Junior individual competition
– Senior individual competition
– Senior groups competition

The event AmsterdaMMasters has shown that our beautiful sport can reach a large audience and is also responsible for Dutch rhythmic gymnastics being back on the international calendar.

Carolina Rodríguez from Spain got the best score in Senior All-Around, performing a new ribbon routine with piano music just a few weeks before European Championships. Second place went for Nicol Ruprecht from Austria and third for Dora Vass from Hungary.
