Vlada Nikolchenko (UKR)

Legendary Rhythmic Gymnastics School in Ukraine organize an unique Grand Prix from 13th to 17th of March in Kiev.

The event is run by the mother, Albina Deriugina (Hero in Ukraine) and daughter Irina Deriugina, who is the head coach. Irina’s daughter, Ireesha Blokhina, works in the school as a senior choreographer. Since 1992, “Deriugina Cup” is the biggest competition in Ukraine and one of the most important events of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition Calendar.

“Deriugina Cup” is a celebration of femininity, beauty and elegance, and most importantly – popularisation of rhythmic gymnastics in Ukraine.

Notable Alumni of this school were Olympians Ekaterina Serebryanskaya, Oksana Skaldina, Aleksandra Tymoshenko, Anna Rizatdinova and Anna Bessonova, between others.
