Information about Asian Junior Championships 2014.

Asian Junior Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics is an event that will be held in Kuala Lumpur (MAS) this weekend and also, a qualifier for the 2nd Youth Olympic Games this summer.

The event includes apparatus finals for individuals and an all-around final which will be the key to qualify to YOG. Individual gymnasts from 13 to 15 years old will perform on ball, hoop, clubs and ribbon. Groups are composed of 5 gymnasts and compete with 5 hoops and 10 clubs.

The three top ranked individuals and the top groups will qualify for YOG and also China’s gymnasts who as the host country, have already got their place. The gymnasts who qualify for YOG must have been born in 1999.

Schedule:

  • 21st of February: Individual and Group Qualifications.
  • 22nd of February: Individual and Group Qualifications.
  • 23st of February: AA Individual Final
  • 24th of February: Individual and Groups Finals.
